Delete your Velok Life account

• Open the Velok Life app on your Android or iOS device.
• Sign in with your account.
• Go to the "Profile" tab.
• Tap "Settings" and then "Delete account".
• Confirm the action. Your account will be deactivated immediately.

• Go to velok.app and sign in.
• Open your Dashboard from the main menu.
• In the account settings section, select "Delete account".
• Confirm the action to complete the deletion.

If you cannot access your account, write to hola@velok.app from the email address associated with the account you want to delete. Include your full name and, if possible, your username. We will process your request within a maximum of 30 days.

• Your public profile (name, photo, biography, location).
• Your identity in our authentication system (AWS Cognito).
• Your posts, trips and services are hidden and marked as inactive.
• Your email address is obfuscated so it cannot be reused or linked back to you.
• Your location history and the signals used to personalize your feed and recommendations.
• Your preferences, notifications and session data.

Due to legal obligations we may keep the minimum information that applicable law requires, only for the period it establishes. That information is decoupled from your public profile and is used exclusively for compliance purposes.

We may also retain aggregated or anonymized security logs to protect the platform against fraud and abuse.

When you delete your account from the app or the web, deactivation is immediate. Final removal of associated data is completed within 30 days of the request, except for data we must retain due to the legal obligations mentioned in the previous section.
